Welcome to Week 3 of RESET. This week, we turn our focus to inflammation and recovery — one of the most important, yet often hidden, barriers to healing. Inflammation can quietly keep the body in a defensive state, slowing progress, which is why RESET now begins to target recovery signalling more directly — because healing accelerates when the brakes are released. Recovery isn’t passive; your body needs specific biological inputs to shift into repair mode, and through targeted therapies like cryotherapy alongside continued light exposure, sleep habits, and recovery-focused actions, we provide those signals. As you move through this week, everything you experience is part of a normal, guided process — and this phase is about helping your body transition from defence into true recovery, as Richard will now explain through the science behind it.

In this video, Richard Gibson explains the role inflammation plays in the body and why it’s often a hidden driver behind many chronic conditions. As you’ll hear, when inflammation remains unresolved, it can keep the body stuck in a protective state, preventing true healing and recovery — which is exactly why this week of RESET focuses on helping your system shift out of that cycle.

In this video, Richard Gibson takes a deeper dive into the science behind cryotherapy, explaining how targeted cold exposure helps reduce inflammation, support recovery, and stimulate the body’s natural healing responses. He also walks you through what the experience looks like at Aim — a safe, fully supported therapy where you’re guided every step of the way, ensuring both comfort and confidence as your body adapts to the cold.

In this video, Richard Gibson takes a deep dive into compression therapy, exploring how it supports circulation and encourages effective lymphatic drainage — helping the body move fluid, clear waste, and reduce the build-up of toxins. By enhancing blood flow and supporting the lymphatic system, this therapy not only aids recovery but also promotes a profound sense of relaxation, allowing the body to reset and restore.

Building Momentum in Week 3

RESET is designed to build progressively — each week layering new habits on top of the last. Nothing is removed, and nothing is reset. Instead, you continue to stack behaviours that support your body’s recovery.
You’re not starting over — you’re building momentum.

Keep Your Foundations Strong

As you move into Week 3, continue with the core habits you’ve already established:

  • Morning light exposure (Week 1)

  • Evening light management and breathing (Week 2)

These remain essential. They help regulate your circadian rhythm, support your nervous system, and create the internal environment your body needs to recover effectively.

Your New Habit: Daily Recovery Walk

This week introduces a simple but powerful addition — your daily recovery walk.

  • 20–30 minutes each day

  • Easy, relaxed pace

  • Outdoors where possible

  • Consistency over intensity

This isn’t about exercise — it’s about signalling recovery.

Regular walking helps to:

  • Improve circulation

  • Reduce inflammation

  • Support lymphatic flow and drainage

  • Regulate the nervous system

  • Reinforce your natural sleep–wake rhythm

Track Your Progress

Use your habit tracker daily to log:

  • Morning light

  • Evening routine

  • Recovery walk

Tick each habit as you complete it. Focus on building streaks — consistency is where the real change happens.

If You Miss a Day

No guilt. No overthinking.
Just restart the next day.

Progress in RESET is cumulative — every small action adds up over time.

Plan Your Goal Review

As you move through this week, take a moment to book in your goal review for Week 4. This gives us a chance to reflect on your progress, look at what’s working well, and explore how we can continue to support your health journey moving forward.

Keep Going

Keep stacking small wins — your body is learning a new rhythm.
